Malaikah Rasheed
Research Technician
Malaikah obtained her BSc in Chemistry at the University of Salford in 2023. For her final year dissertation, she investigated the use of graphene oxide to enhance an electrochemical biosensor for cancer biomarker detection. She then joined the Centre for Nanotechnology in Medicine at the University of Manchester in 2024 as an MSc student in Nanomedicine by Research. During her research project in the NanoTherapeutics lab, she investigated the use of graphene oxide as a delivery platform for cancer immunotherapy. Malaikah graduated with Distinction and was awarded the prize for 'Top MSc Nanomedicine Student.' In January 2025, Malaikah joined the NanoOmics lab as a Research Technician to work on the NanoNeuroOmics Starting ERC project.
